Bed bugs tend to congregate, but it's also common to find a single bug or some eggs here and there. A thorough inspection and treatment may take up to several hours. Some companies use specially trained dogs to assist in finding small dispersed infestations, especially in such places as hotels, schools, libraries and office buildings.

Size of a Bed Bug Egg The bed bugs eggs are the first stage of the cycle and at that time it is about 1mm long. It's white and is very distinctive. You will see many of these at the place of infestation - usually under the mattress of the bed.
Bed bugs feed on humans and animals and use their blood to grow and reproduce. Bed bugs do not transmit disease to people. Bed bugs live close to where people sleep, rest or sit for long periods of time. Bed bugs are active at night and generally hide during the day. Do not try to treat bed bugs
Bed bug eggs, in general, are: tiny, the size of a pinhead; pearl-white in color; and. marked by an eye spot if more than five days old.
